Under the Australian consumer law, your purchased goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. If you believe your item is faulty, you have the right for this to be remedied under the Australian Consumer Law. According to Australian Consumer Law, time periods may vary from products depending on the nature of the goods, the price paid, or representations made about the goods.
If you believe your item is faulty, we may have to send your goods back to the original manufacturer to be assessed within a reasonable time. In the event of a major failure, you can choose a refund, repair or exchange. If the failure is deemed minor, we may repair the item or replace at our discretion within a reasonable amount of time.
If your item has been damaged through misuse, modification, or not following the directions or manual, Wood Tech cannot provide a refund, exchange or repair.
Damaged In Transit
In rare cases, goods can arrive damaged in transit. If your order arrives and the internal goods have been damaged in transit, please take a photo and email email@example.com
If your order arrives and only the external packaging is damaged but the goods inside are fine, we will not issue an exchange or refund.
Incorrect Item Sent
If you receive your order and the items do not match what was ordered, contact our team at firstname.lastname@example.org
Change Of Mind
If you change your mind, that’s no problem. You have 30 days (including weekends) to return the product at your own expense. If the product is unused, unopened and in the original saleable package, you will be issued with a refund or credit (excluding any shipping fees). Contact email@example.com before you return your product to ensure its validity.
Special Order Exclusion
All special orders and non-stock items are exempt from the 30-day change of mind returns policy. If the product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, your regular Australian Consumer Law rights standard.
WOODFAST GROUP AUSTRALIA warrants to only the original retail consumer of products that each product be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date the product was purchased at retail. A further two (2) years is offered on casting machinery components and machinery parts. This warranty may not be transferred (this does not include items such as motors, belts, switches etc.).
This warranty does not apply to defects due directly or indirectly to misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, repairs, alterations, lack of maintenance or normal wear and tear. Under no circumstances will Seller be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from defective products. All other warranties expressed or implied, whether of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or otherwise are expressly disclaimed by Seller. This one-year warranty does not cover products used for commercial, industrial, or educational purposes. The warranty term for these claims will be limited to a two-year period.
This limited warranty does not apply to accessory items such as blades, drill bits, sanding discs, grinding wheels, guide bearings or belts and other related items.
The Seller shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property, or for incidental, contingent, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.
To take advantage of this warranty proof of purchase documentation, which includes date of purchase and an explanation of the complaint, must be provided.
The Seller reserves the right to effect at any time, without prior notice, those alterations to parts, fittings, and accessory equipment which they may deem necessary for any reason whatsoever.
Industral Machinery Warranty
Industrial machines are not ordered online are subject to individual warranty periods and service agreements. Discuss your warranty and service plan with your technical sales representative before purchasing.
